After graduating high school, I served four years in the United States Marine Corps. The military proved to be remarkable experience in that an individual can pack so much life into such a small amount of time.

Once my enlistment ended, I began taking college classes at a local community college. I eventually found my niche and graduated from the California State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English.

Writing came easy but I didn't fit into the standard mold of an English Major (Shakespeare and The Classics are lost on me). My future was going to be made in writing... I just didn't know how at the time.

For the next five years, I found myself working on various positions within the construction industry as a truss designer and sales representative. During this time I was able to create content for various sales documents and websites. I enjoyed writing for results and found that creating writing that served business was a rewarding challenge.

"Evolution Group" is the synergy of my sales, formal composition, and business communication experience.
